The 2019 annual RCM education conference will be held in Bath on 11 June. It brings together midwife educators and midwifery students from across the UK to discuss current issues around midwifery education.

Life as a Researcher

Each year, The Royal College of Midwives invites a leading midwife to deliver a thought-provoking and inspiring lecture, presenting the best in current midwifery research. The lecture commemorates Zepherina Veitch, a pioneer of modern midwifery and one of the founders of the institution which would become the RCM. Recent lecturers have included, Professor Dame Tina Lavender, Professor Helen Cheyne, Professor Sheila Hunt, Professor Mary Renfrew, Professor Helen Spiby, Dame Cathy Warwick DBE, Professor Lesley Page CBE and Louise Silverton CBE.
